Well they have a lega card for it, why would they even go into the ufc ? you know they're going to use the benefits of the card..

The athletic commissions don't recognize medical marijuana cards as a legal prescription for the drug. If you have a doctor's consent to use TRT, and you disclose that to the UFC, you're completely fine.

However, if you get caught with any THC in your system, you get suspended. That's just how these fucked up rules work, since marijuana is deemed a "PED".

TRT is legal federally. Marijuana on the other hand is legal in certain states, but is illegal federally. That's why so many dispensaries get raided regularly.

It's dumb, I know, but that's how it is. And as much as I like fighters like Nick Diaz and Matt Riddle, they know if they get caught with any THC in their system, they're going to get fined and suspended despite them having a "prescription" for it.

Oh, and his fight got changed from a win to a "NC".

"Original win by submission (arm-triangle choke); Submission of the Night; Overturned after Riddle tested positive for marijuana."

That was an awesome submission too, sucks for him.

Yeah, I Seen the fight. it was really good. I understand from a legal/goverment stand point but in MMA..

-trt replaces low testosterone basically. Lower testosterone is subjected to lower muscle mass/depression/etc.. They basically found a way to nullify one of lifes tolls..It's pretty good in a sense that much more older/mature fights are still well enough to fight and compete with the new guys that come into the ufc (not saying that trt =good fighter, it takes a lot of skill which they would still have without TRT..its not nessecary) come on...if you have suffer from low testosterone it's time to move on, not cheat your way into the system

-weed on the other hand, are taken by the ufc fighters for medical purposes, many have argued inlucing nick diaz that it helps them enhance perfomance in training, puts them in the 'zone' but when it comes down to it it's all about the skills that you have. smoking weed isn't going to turn into you a MMA machine. it doesn't give you any sort of advantage in the cage, where as trt actually does..

this is stupid, more and more fighters are getting caught into this retarded rule set. The only thing i DONT understand is they all know they're going to get caught..yet they still do it >_<

I believe I read somewhere the reason Weed is banned is because it is a performance inhibitor.
