If Yan was American he wins Unanimous Decision 29-28 it really was not a close fight

You could give O’Malley round 3 but 1-2 weren’t competitive

A significant strike is a significant strike. Yes, Yan leaked, but does that deny him the obvious control time and take down success? I think not. It would be the equivalent of opening up nate diaz, which is super easy do to all the scars. Just because Nate is bleeding, means fuck all. Just a comparison for explanation sake.

yan didnt do anything on the ground but hold him

Mans claimed he was best striker but tried to wrestle a rank 11 im not going for it, yan found out the hard way

I agree, sugar really proved himself here. An honorable loss might have motivated him more for his next fight...

Where were these judges for the Hendricks vs gsp fight????

Yan did have fingers out, but O'Maley also grabbed the cage more than once which slightly impacted the fight, soo... they were both given leeway by the ref. Clearly, wrestling was part of Yan's strategy. He and his team obviously noticed O'Maley is easy to take down. It was a fantastic and exciting fight. I'd love to see them run it back one day.
