I can't be based on what I saw. Even if you prefer the power punches from Canelo, they weren't hurting GGG and I think GGG has a tendency to withdraw more than he should after being hit hard (i.e., he makes an opponent's shot look more effective than it really is). Golovkin was not the better boxer but he connected with a lot more punches and he was in charge of the majority of rounds.

The best I can possibly do is 7-5 Golovkin, still not a draw.

On Canelo: I think he did boxing a disservice but saying he felt he won 7 or 8 rounds but he can be forgiven for pride and the emotions after a good fight. Also, I don't think Canelo looked bad by any means. He did really well for himself, but it just wasn't enough to deserve a draw or a win.
