This type of visa can be issued to persons who travel to Brazil to work and/or perform any services under contract, including scientists, researchers, technicians, professionals, and Maritimes:
N.B. The Work Visa must obligatorily be applied for in Brazil with the Brazilian Ministry of Labour and Employment:
a) Professors, technicians, researchers or scientists, providing services or working in either a public or private entity under a contract (RN 01/1997/CNIg);

Providing services of any kind to the Brazilian Government, particularly those arising from international agreements to which Brazil is a party (RN 35/99/CNIg);
c) Employed by a foreign company and sent to work in Brazil to receive training at a Brazilian subsidiary, branch or headquarters of the same parent company (RN 87/2010/CNIg)
d) Who are foreign instructors or professors travelling to Brazil to undertake an internship in the teaching of foreign languages, provided that they are paid exclusively outside of Brazil by the foreign institution (RN 41/99/CNIg);
e) Employed by a foreign company and sent to work in Brazil as an intern at a subsidiary or branch of the company, provided that they are paid exclusively outside of Brazil by the foreign company (RN 44/99/CNIg);
f) To provide (technical) assistance in a situation of emergency, without an employment relationship with an entity based in Brazil, or for the transferral of technology, arising from a contract or agreement between the foreign and Brazilian entities (Article 1 of the RN 61/2004/CNIg);
g) To provide technical services in a situation of emergency without a work contract (Article 6 of the RN 61/2004/CNIg):
i) For stays up to 90 (ninety) days;
ii) Under very exceptional circumstances, without previous authorisation from the Ministry of Labour and Employment, for up to 30 (thirty days);
h) Contracted by a foreign company/corporation or other entity based in Brazil to work in the country (RN 12/98/CNIg);
i) Professional athletes with work contracts or an employment relationship with a duly registered athletic entity (RN 76/2007/CNIg);j) Contracted by a company from a Trans-national Economic Group, whose headquarters is a Brazilian company, to provide technical-operational or administrative services, without an employment relationship or work contract, with the aim of enabling and learning the business methodology and culture, contributing towards the management of the Brazilian headquarters, as well as to allow the exchange and sharing of experiences inherent to the functions of the employees (RN 79/2008/CNIg);
k) Contracted by a Brazilian entity to work in Brazil (Ordinance 3.721 of the Ministry of Labour and Employment and RN 80/2008/CNIg);
l) Scientists, professors, or researches who have work contracts with a Brazilian institution of teaching or technological/scientific research (RN 82/2008/CNIg);
m) Maritimes that are employed by a foreign tourism vessel, including cruise ships, operating in Brazilian territorial waters, including the Brazilian coast, Amazonian river basin and internal waters, without employment relations with a Brazilian company, and without a valid International Maritime Identity Card (RN 71/2006/CNIg);
n) Professionals providing services on board a foreign vessel or platform that is operating in Brazilian territorial waters, without employment relations with a Brazilian company, and without a valid International Maritime Identity Card (RN 72/2006/CNIg);
o) Crew members of a foreign fishing vessel that is operating in Brazilian territorial waters, that is under a leasing contract with a duly registered Brazilian entity (RN 81/2008/CNIg);
p) Recent graduates or student who will participate in a professional exchange programme with a Brazilian employer, with the aim of improving upon their academic training, and having a cultural experience within a work environment (RN 94/2011/CNIg).
e/ Easiest way to explain this to the people who refuse to understand... UFC has a permanent work visa for their company in various countries... This does NOT grant their fighters temporary work visas by any means.....
