btw I have colleagues at Lcol level and their english is not as good as mine and most anglophone with a langage profile C--C-C or many even with E and at full Colonel level can barely understand french..

yes, english is not my mother tongue, you have a problem with that ? and can you bring the source saying major rank in Canada require to speaks both langages ?

you just said you needed to pass a test for what you said...

its a requirement for every service member to update their langage profile every 5 years. Its a standard. My mother tongue is french but I can speak, write and work in an english environment without problem although its not perfect.

So again: where is your source saying that major rank requires to speak both langage in Canada ?

I think I have to explain in details what I meant when I said ''english is your mother tongue not me therefore I have an excuse not you, period !''
in order words, I was saying to that dork tha english is his mother tongue and he makes mistake so he has no excuse unlike me who's mother tongue is french, so is I write sens instead of sense, its a little misspelling ut I its ok for me since my mother tongue is french..
