"There is evidence to prove the disparity in power between Conor’s shots and Jose’s. There’s a reason why Conor’s fights are usually less than two rounds and Aldo regularly goes the distance.

Aldo’s leg kicks will take care of themselves because Conor is a southpaw. But anyway, tell me the last fight where Aldo’s kicks played a significant role? Not in the last seven fights, at least.

Aldo must factor in that he’s trying to kick a much taller man. He must factor in that whenever he lifts his leg, Conor will hit him with a left hand. Aldo’s kicks will not play any role.

I foresee this fight being similar to Conor’s other fights. He’ll come out quickly, back Aldo up, and that will be all she wrote." - John cavanagh

How it's going to be, he won't let aldo move forward at all

He won't respect his power just like he didn't respect chads

I've been telling these fuckin people since this thread started that aldo will throw wayyyyy less leg kicks than normal when he fights mcgregor.

Everyone got this delusional sense of Aldo's leg kicks because of what he did to faber.... It's easy to do when you're controlling the distance and fighting a much smaller guy than you with the same stance as you.

Edit:

Na. He won't throw half as many as he normally does.

I'm not asking opinions, I'm telling you he's not going to throw half as many as normal. Period.

Ok you're 100% trolling.

Or you don't know shit.

Both probably true.

Glad Conor won.

But after finally watching the fight, oh boy he's going to struggle against Jose.

He got tagged as much or more by Mendes than Aldo did. I've been saying it for a while now, he keeps his hands too low and his striking defense just isn't there. Every opponent he's had has hit him flush.

You realized he let mendes hit him the majority of those times? he gave mendes zero respect. It's a mental game when mendes hits him as hard as he can and Conor laughs, it's to break his opponents. He's actually a pretty elusive fighter and by far the best striker that division has ever seen.

Aldo doesn't stand a chance. Mendes had a better chance than Jose and mendes is still his biggest threat

So you're calling a coach that coaches elite level mma fighters, multiple UFC fighters, an uneducated fool that knows nothing?

The "He let's people hit him" defense isn't really a defense tho.

Whether he's not trying to avoid getting hit or is unable to, the result is that he is easy to hit.

He'll choose if he wants to fight defensively or let Aldo hit him. It won't change the results either way.
