Probably because dillishaw deserves a second belt more than ceudo. And if dillishaw wins they have a good reason to finish closing the division. If he loses they can rematch for the 35 belt. It makes a little sense to me but still shitty

How does this ruin his legacy? In my opinion this is a big boost to his legacy. He was so good he held the title for all but like 2 months of the entire time the UFC had a 125lb division. Nobody else can come close so they are shutting it down.
