Man you look at the stats and O'Malley outstruck Yan RND 1 and more than doubled his strikes in RND 3.. Yan didn't do enough with his control time.. watching this live I thought Yan won, but it was too close overall to leave it in the judges hands really. O'Malley did a lot of damage and that is the most hurt we have ever seen Yan in a fight, and that was 3 rounds. Officially Yan is 1W-3L in his last 4 fights and he's been his own worst enemy, considering he's one of the best Bantamweights this has been a bad slide for him now.
nope nope nope UFC is rigged. What most likely happened was this.
1) Dana White gets a cut from all the book makers.
2) Book makers told him that yan and islam parlay is going to bankrupt them.
3) Dana told two of the judges to make sure that sugar wins if it goes to dec.
You see, he cant ask islam to lose because
1) khabib would not stand for this
2) islam is a devout muslim with high moral value
3) arab prince would have dana's head for rigging *dana can no longer enjoy his tax haven fight island
you see UFC is not registered under sports but as entertainment. I think they do this for tax reasons but I also think they do it so if their rigged fights ever becomes public, they can always hide behind the legal banner of "entertainment." So legally, UFC is classified under the same category as WWE. Yes, it is legal for Dana to rig fights.
*Wanderlai Silva also explicitly mentioned that UFC rigs fights.
*MMA is historically ran by mobs that rig fights. ex) PRIDE was ran by yakuzas.
