I don't know if he was broken, he never looked at Usman at the face off or when Usman came in marching him down prefight, never really responded to his corner. He was in his own zone whether it was working or not it and eventually did

However herb Dean sometimes made some mistakes the past couple years, maybe he isn't as sharp as he used to be. It's whatever. A very good ref but not top anymore, for whatever reason.
He was trying to separate them earlier in the fight too telling Usman to "work, let's work" and i was like "wtf?", cause he was working full on with wrestling control and kneeing him already plenty of times when he told him to "work"..
Anyway he made some good calls too during the fight. Idk, i liked the rush and surprise of how it ended and i don't mind Leon as champ, but it was a bit lucky that he got space by the ref to be able to throw something out the last minutes.

I like Tognoni because he's very fair and not afraid to do the right thing, like going to the judges recently to see if they saw a tap with Bueno Silva/Egger, not afraid to take points when it's expected. Just seems unbiased and fair, but everyone messes up. Just don't be Mark Smith.
