Would he go to sleep or tap due to pain before Ben's arms gassed? No telling seeing as it was stopped, one thing for sure though is Ben has hell of a grip and can squeeze extremely hard
My bet would be on Lawler either tapping or going to sleep before Ben were to let go there (or of course Lawler could've possibly fought it off but he showed no efforts in doing that at all seeing as he let his arm go limp..)

Sure, as soon as askren let go lawler was straight up with arms asking what the fuck, he wasnt being choked, for sure ot wouldve hurt but its robbie lawler, pretty sire askren had him in a headlock when robbie decided to pick him up and drop him on his head and proceed to punch the fuck out of him, so who knows what was about to happen

But whose to say he wasn't close to being to the point of tapping
Or whose to say ben didn't make a slight adjustment seconds later to make it even worse
End of the day Robbie's arm went completely limp.. that doesn't look good

The whole world saw that and said he was out, Joe said he was out there, Herb said he was out. The commissioner executive director said he was out. They didnt even feel the need to see a replay for that call from what i heard. Regardless, it's the refs job to protect fighters. They're supposed to error on the side of caution.

I also don't think a rematch will happen. I'd love to see it. And I could see Lawler winning, I think most people think that's completely possible.

But it doesn't sound like Ben has interest in it, he wasn't really that interested in this fight to start with. It sounds like he legitimately just wants to fight as many guys as he can to try to get to the belt, he's not looking to waste time on rivalries. He's 34, and who knows how long he will be fighting for.

I dont think hed come to as soon as he released the hold you see jones when he choked machida stabding he let go machida collapsed, robbies right arm went limp, what about his other arm and his legs didnt gie out either, hed be having head spins or somethibg if he was out and came back and got up like that, if it would even be possible to get up
