thing is there is no dolphin for him in the ufc and since he used to hold 2 belts at the same time, he has to live with that status and has to face top contenders. He'll lose every time he has someone his size and natural weight Nate, now khabib. I see plenty of fighters that can beat him convincingly. Lee, ferg,Nate again, etc

Or he could beat them. It's not like the guy is washed up. Those all would be hard fights for him without a doubt. But they aren't Unwinnable. I think Nate again makes the most sense and the most money for him and that would have nothing to do with the title.

I'm just saying his PPV sales aren't gonna go from top ever to bottom of the roster after 1 fight. He will get his and the ufc will get theirs for at least 1 more fight.

Would be funny if they put Conor vs Tony as main event of a fight card involving Khabib

I think they're both suspended at least a year though

His downfall will be noticeable in his next fight but it also depend vs who. I think he will be a main event in his next fight but it has to be against a good fighter in order to get a title shot after.
I think he is in his most fragile position right now. Next fight is crucial and Dana better call the opponent wisely if he wants to carry on with his cash cow.

Actually thinking about it the best common sense opponent for him would be to close the trilogy with Nate Diaz. If he KO him out of his feet, he's back in the mix but if its a 5 draining rounds where he suffers, I think he'll focus on his after career and leave the carpet
