i mean if we are being honest, that gsp condit fight would still be scored like 49-42 in todays scoring. and without that kick damn near a 50-40.

only thing i can compare that to is the jones - gus fight. wasnt close by any means, a clear 4-1 victory for jones. but people were just shocked to see him bleed. i was surprised condit landed a solid head kick vs gsp, but it wasnt an almost finish by any means.

yeah... that fight vs a non striker 7 years ago. rly shows his amazing striking abilities...

(One of those split decisions was against then current WW kingpin Robbie Lawler, which was razor close and personally I feel Condit won. He is a 1 time interim UFC WW Champion, was the last WEC WW Champion with 3-defenses.

Dude absolutely overcame his lanky frame, no wrestling background. Had a father who is some politician, he isn’t a born fighter. He just found out he loved to hurt people and was good at it.
