yea carwin punched himself out, and i give props for ref not stopping it, because he had the right to stop it if he wanted. I was rooting for Carwin but im glad he didnt stop it. That said, i know velasquez deserves a shot, but i want carwin/lesnar 2. only fight i MIGHT want over that is fedor vs lesnar, but that probably wont happen.

No disrespect to Cain but I don't think he can out wrestle Lesnar, and he certainly doesn't look to hit as hard as Carwin...

Cain doesn't stand a chance against Carwin. I loved Cain v Nog, but he isnt nearly big enough. The only Lesnar fight I have any interest in watching (due to competitiveness) will be Lesnar V Carwin 2. Carwin with better cardio / a basic knowledge in Sub Def = guaranteed win. He won every other aspect in the first.

Hey -- all I can hope is that first loss has shown Carwin he's not the unstoppable machine he thought, and it'll push him to work harder.

Yeah but this will also probably help Brock know what his limits are, he took a savage beating and he was still not knocked out... that might help him handle being punched and if he works on his striking , it would make an interesting RM

Consider it like Mir V Lesnar. Lesnar was dominating, Mir snapped off a sub.

Carwin was dominating, Lesnar snapped off a sub.

Wait for the rematch.

Did you just compare the jiu jitsu of a black belt under a mundial's champion at the absolute level vs a fully rested 300 pound college level wrestler in the open guard; to that of a blue belt cranking a head an arm sub versus a completely gassed opponent from full side control?

LOL WHAT?
how can u say carwin was dominating and lesnar "snapped off a sub?" ? sure he dominated the first round but lesnar ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED from the start of the 2nd round.. he shot the takedown like 10 seconds in and never looked back

thats all that happened lol, thats not dominating he got the takedown. the takedown was not equivalent to carwins complete first round domination. Carwin was tired period, no denying it. You exert that much energy punching for 3-4 minutes trying to finish a fight, you get tired. No matter what your cardio is. Carwin will learn from that, hell take the first round domination and save energy next time
