Retirement?
No way he fights his way back to a 3rd title fight with the GOAT ALEX P
He doesn’t want the 5-0 smoke. I’m guessing retirement from Izzy on April 8th, what about you? In all seriousness, there’s nothing left for him if he loses this fight because if he somehow win the trilogy later this year no one would even care at that point. Or am I wrong?

Yup, you all bought into the "alex has his number bandwagon".

Congrats izzy.

It's not a bandwagon it's common sense. Alex was 3-0 vs Izzy and is now 3-1 vs Izzy. I would still bet Periera if they went at it again.

There was definite bandwagoners and haters. Common sense but why the bookies have izzy favourite. I'm stoked he won and enjoyed the pettiness at the end

Yeah you could tell Poatan was over aggressive thinking he had Izzy's # and didn't need to invest more in those calf kicks, not that it was a bad idea to pressure him when he was tweaking that calf but he went too far and over committed while both men were still fresh enough.

Izzy froze him in time, that was an unreal KO.

I think Jan Dec win and Alex tko in first fight was good for izzy... it released the pressure of needing to be perfect inside the cage.

A result in Saturday nights epic win. He will most likely be as aggressive in future match ups.

I think they do need the mma rubber match though

Right? Izzy fan boys are crazy, they’d of thought Izzy just 5-0’d him by their reactions lol.

Grats to Izzy though, I thought for sure Alex would get the dub again and would also bet on Alex in their third ufc bout although it’ll never happen

I wouldn't say it's common sense by how most of the fights went, there was an edge you could play either way, but I found this one to be way too volatile to bet on so I just passed.

Happy for Izzy to get that highlight reel KO, and I agree Pereira should have to dust up a couple top end opponents before an immediate rematch as Adesanya had proven himself in MMA to get to the point he was at even with his Kickboxing credentials. And who wouldn't want to see Poatan KO a couple top 10's? Or get sub'd himself.. who knows.

Throw DuPlessis against Adesanya ... South Africa vs. Africa!!
