Thanks for keeping us up to date with all GSP-related news.

A bummer though, I think that /if/ he comes back, he will be too old :(

Seriously, I think he won't come back

Why would he, his time has passed. He made his money. His heart isn't in it no more. He's filming a movie this year. He is only 33 , it's not that old for this sport.

how many beatings he's taken i'd say he's too old for this sport at 33

he's been fighting for a really long time and can't forget basically all of his fights were 5 round decisions.. that takes a toll on you mostly getting your face beat up by people like condit, diaz, hendricks, etc

he won those fights yes, but he took punishment as well

i think it'd be better for him to stay out i think lawler would actually kill him

I personally don't think he's a fighter at heart despite how gifted he is at the sport.

Silva has taken some shots, hasn't had as many consecutive 5 rounders but he's fucking 39.
Randy couture took beatings and he was fighting in his late 40s.
Mark coleman same story
You have frank mir who has been getting his ass beat for his last 4 fights who is still fighting at 35.

Yeah that shit was cringe worthy. I watched like a minute and had to turn it off.

Good. I hope he doesn't, I mean I'd love to see him fight again, but he's made his money, taken a good amount of damage, he got out at the right time. I'd hate to see him come back and get brutally knocked out and then retire.

As much as I used to hate on GSP, he was an incredible fighter, and a really nice guy.
