This is the exact reason conor gets paid and these fucks beg to be on his undercard. You can throw all the hate in the world at conor and not defending and all that and I understand it, but the one thing you can't say about the guy is he complained he didn't get enough help. He did world fucking tours to make sure he got paid. I remember seeing build up to the Siver fight and how much he did was fucking insane.

I know not everyone may feel this way, but I personally find women's MMA to be a plague to the UFC. Rousey brought it to the UFC and was a true superstar but once that got derailed we're stuck with cards being plagued by shitty fights that seem light years behind men's MMA in technical skill and obviously will never be able to compete with the athleticism displayed in some of the men's fights. There's a reason WNBA, women's boxing, women's soccer, really no sport that has a women's counterpart to it, can't even compete in the same universe in terms of money (because of the viewership+crowds those other sports draw) as their men's counterpart. The difference is, the NBA doesn't cut out mid-game and force us to watch a WNBA game when none of us give a fuck about the WNBA and just want to watch the ending of our fucking game.

UFC obviously can't just get rid of women's MMA or treat them differently because the backlash it would cause and possible legal issues. It's a plague and I'm sick of watching a good card then out of nowhere 2 women nobody has ever heard of put on the worst technical display of skills for a boring 3 round fight that wastes 30 mins of your life as you're just waiting to get to the next fight. For me, there's not a single female fighter or a female fight that could be put on that would be worth buying a PPV for. If it's a stacked card and there happens to be a women's fight on it, I view as I'll suffer through it so I can watch the shit I want to see.


TLDR: women's mma is awful. Make full women's cards for them or something

Yeah I think Stephens has a solid shot at winning this. Can't always count out an old aldo (no PED's aldo?). He put a clinic on Edgar at UFC 200.

We can probably assume he was juiced to the gills.. I mean it's pretty easy with him being Brazilian. He has had a lot of fights so maybe he's just old in terms of fights. Maybe he was juiced and lost just a bit in his speed and power and that set him from being the elite of the elite, to just being a top tier guy in the division. Maybe it's all mental? You feel dependant on the juice to perform at the level you do then all of a sudden when you don't have it, it's hard to adapt to.

Who knows what it is but it's clear he's not the same fighter he used to be
