fedor
spider
hendo
sakuraba

those are my top 4
but theres a lot on the cusp of that echelon
like

hughes
bones
gsp
royce

probably a couple more. not sure if id put conor in top 10 all time because guys like lyoto, tito and others have claims to be made too

conor's multi-division dominance isnt as impressive as it seems anyway. as its been said a billion times here, hes only 1-1 vs an above average ranked welterweight. he shredded eddie though, very impressively. but eddie hasnt exactly been groomed for the octagon, with very little of his career comprising of ufc bouts.

not only has conor's feat essentially been done before in the UFC, twice (couture, penn) but pride (hendo) and its been a concurrent theme in weight classed competitive combat sports for decades. check any boxer, and the good/great ones will likely have held belts in 2 or 3 different weight classes (spanning 20-35 lbs in difference) its actually pretty rare to see a fighter simply stay and/or dominate in one weight class their entire career, unless they are always a heavyweight.

conor's great don't get me wrong though. the next couple years though can determine whether he cracks top 10 all-time and/or further for me
