Why are you saying "Mark my words" as if you got hit by some revelation nostradamus? Yes RDA is next in line for the title shot and is more than likely going to get it. I'm just saying till vs rda makes more sense than Woodley vs rda as i don't get why people would want to watch rda attempt to fight Woodley

He's going to get bashed. Once again, wonderboy is the only 1 in the top 5 that has any hope in hell of beating Woodley and we've seen that twice already. Let Woodley take a money fight like he's wanting and let guys like covington/till/usman fight for top contender spots to see if they're ready

I had Woodley over Wonderboy both times and would again, but RDA is a terrible matchup imo. Look at what he did to Lawler, if TWood wants to keep it standing Dos Anjos can best him there, or if it hits the mat RDA will be just fine. Woodley is a good wrestler for sure, but I think RDA could sub him.

Wasn't impressed with his performance against lawler. Shouldn't have even gotten a title fight off Lawler. He hasn't been the same since the rory fight. He looked bad vs a washed up condit and his only win since that fight was a decision over cerrone lol...

I don't see rda winning on the feet... it's a very dangerous game for him to attempt to play and anytime he attempts to clinch or grapple with Woodley he's going to get ragdolled. The strength, size, and athleticism is gonna be like nothing rda has seen before. We're talking about a guy that was a lightweight fighting vs possibly the biggest welterweight ever. (Rumble was a big ww but he was ethiopian by the time he made weight and it clearly was detrimental to his ability to fight)

I think woodley by ko round 3 ish. Rda is small. Woodley is careful. Rda can beat woodley by decision I feel, but only if he has a super well rounded game plan and can execute it perfectly without getting hit by a bomb right hand. He's gotta be unpredictable and keep woodley guessing. The problem is woodley doesn't give a fuck if he's entertaining and will either wait 25 mins for 1 bomb, or neutralize him for a dec if rda doesn't properly execute.

Pretty much this. Wouldn't be surprised to see rda get decapitated in the first by any means but could also see Woodley keeping it boring and neutralizing him for 5 rounds. The size and athleticism of Woodley is gonna be something rda has never felt before.


WW is getting to be like a few other divisions where title fights aren't even worth watching because the champion is in a whole different league than the rest of the division. Fortunately what welterweight has that those other divisions in that situation don't have, is up and coming stars that show huge potential. So let those guys have an attempt to prove themselves and let Woodley wait around or take a money fight

Bring back rory so we can watch Woodley cry again
