I just hate the current state of the UFC where the "champion" doesn't defend his belt once since winning it in 2015.
Back in the day you had real champions, like Anderson Silva and GSP, who actually killed their respective divisions several times over whilst making all their opponents look like amateurs. Now we get this dork who refuses to fight anyone but cans and aged veterans whose time has long since passed, and gets clowned on by nate fukn diaz in a gimme fight gone wrong.
Conor fans are basically the GSW bandwagoners of MMA, and are bringing the sport to new lows by giving the UFC incentive to protect/promote their prized cash cow above all else, including the very credibility of the sport itself. No way in hell should he not have been stripped and have khabib and el cucuy fight for the actual belt, both of whom have considerably more impressive resumes and both of whom would absolutely obliterate mcgregor given the opportunity to do so. Hell I even like poirier in a rematch, and chad mendes on a full camp would ofc destroy him.
