The AEW buzz has kinda died for me.

I mean...

They say it's based on records and shit.

and they're putting cody vs jericho cause they have the best records
but jericho has beaten WAY better competition

Cody has been fed Ridic shit... lol...

Like i feel like cody needs to completely just back away from the title scene....

not to mention the first ever AEW PPV after tv starts is gonna be two WWE guys fighting over their best title lol.

It's a weird roster when you start to break down wins and losses and say your titles are determined on those things...

well its not that bad, i agree with your statement that jericho has beaten better competition but who else do you want to take cody spot atm
Omega is 1-2, moxley is 0-0 (unsanctionned match dosent count as a victory), Pac just started and is 1-0, hangman page lost to jericho at last ppv.

It makes sense on paper and with the weekly tv it will help to properly build the next match ups

Yeah ... i just think it's a bad image to have the two WWE guys who left to make this happen are main eventing their first ever show..


But that's also what im saying about the roster... the depth isnn't that great....

Like WWE can pull up any of the top 15 NXT guys and have them Main event any PPV with it being god like...


There's literally like 15 diff people who could challenge seth right now...


It's just a very strange situation AEW is in..


their TV will literally be Make it or break it for them.

Like im honestly more excited for Live 2 hour nxt than aew's first show lol


They're gonna blow a ton of money on their first show and the smoke and mirriors might get fucked...


they have the best tag division tho..

well aew started less than a year ago
lets wait and see what the tv product will look like

i know what you mean about 2 ex wwe employee main eventing the first event in their tv era but they decided to book it this way
cody had the best matches on their ppv so far while jericho starts to look a bit ''sloppy'' compared to what he used to be
maybe they wanted a slower paced match to make jericho shine a bit more

I mean you'll have

pac vs hangman
omega vs moxley


underneath jericho and cody lol

I really do feel like omega and moxley should be ending the show lol


it's also super weird

cause jericho and cody are both technically mcmahons in the AEW world.

They book.... They compete.... they are involved in everything...


they literally talked all that shit about how shane was putting himself in matches and shit

I feel like the champion shouldn't be at the table when booking lol

Almost forgot there was a PPV tonight, lul. Looking forward to Styles vs Cedric Alexander and Nakamura vs Miz, other than that don't really care about any of the matches
