Cain won't get a title shot immediately upon returning. DC is planning to retire this year. A superfight w/ stipe is the only fight that makes sense. Jones will be back this year and he doesn't want to end his career with potentially a 3rd loss to Jones so bump up to hw for a final fight and ride off into the sunset. If he wins, he vacates the belt anyways so it doesn't effect Cain at all (We all know Cain will never touch the belt again). Jones will probably bump up to hw too for at least 1 fight after he takes back his belt.

That has absolutely nothing to do with anything said in here lol...Cain won't be fighting for the belt again and Cormier is planning to retire this year and wants to end on a big fight


He has every intention to bump up to hw for the stipe fight is what I'm saying. It's the only fight that makes sense atm
