I'm just honestly wondering how Conor is going to re-market himself after losing to Aldo.

He's going to get decimated, plain and simple.

He's a good fighter, but Aldo is just on another level. Conor talks a lot, but his previous opponents aren't even half the caliber of Aldo. I mean Dennis Siver, seriously?

Aldo will leg kick him into oblivion, and Conor is going to be fucked until Aldo suffers an injury that takes him out of the game.

If Conor moves up to 155, he'll get fucking demolished by RDA, Khabib, or shit, even Pettis.

He'll never be able to beat Aldo @ 145, and he's too big to move down to 135.

I guess he's made a pretty good amount of money though already, so he's got that to fall back on.

I'm curious to how he takes it. Idk maybe Dana riggs the judges in favor of Conor and conor pushes a decision.

Aldo is a terrible champion marketing wise. All this time he has been apart of the UFC and WEC he could have learned english and been a star. He's missing out on mad sponsorship money from the US

I think mcgregor is going to surprise some people.. Aldo has never faught anyone like conor before. All Aldo's opponents are pure wrestlers coming in with the same game plan. Not only does McGregor have very unorthodox striking, he's probably got more power than Aldo has seen and actually wants to stand with Aldo. also the confidence is the key. McGregor is the most confident fighter I've ever seen lol, at first I thought it was a gimmick and McGregor was a fluke, but now it's apparent McGregor is the King

conor is going to control the distance.

people that have never competed dont understand this.

ive been saying it the whole time, how important this is.

conor truly believes hes going to win, i think hes probably the first person to ever fight aldo that really really really believes with all his mind that he is going to win.

aldo will be able to feel that.

conor mcgregor has the same attitude as jon jones, where they both believe they can never be beat, or in conors case, beat again.

the problem IMO is that this mindset is super fragile.. if conor loses idk if he'll ever be the same. same with jon jones... i remember rashad saying "once you lose youll never be the same, i promise u" or something along those lines. that mindset is so powerful while its working for u, but turns into a huge problem after u lose.

lol... Conor hasn't lost in like 4 years. Aldo hasn't lost in 10.

Also, Chad Mendes, Frankie Edgar and KZ were all 100% confident in winning imo, the fact that they aren't as vocal as Conor doesn't mean they were any less confident. Mike Brown def thought he'd walk through Aldo, and I think Urijah was pretty confident. Mark Hominick even. Aldo has never been an Anderson Silva/Fedor-type champion where everyone in the division feels like they aren't even playing the same game as him, so pretty much everyone who has fought him has been pretty confident imo.

Aldo is a great grappler himself also, which is why he's been able to dominate all those wrestlers. And when he's not getting his way on the feet he goes in and brings his opponent down. Guy is a blackbelt in both BJJ and Luta Livre, which most people fail to take into account... His grappling is on another level compared to Mcgregor and everyone mcgregor has faced so far. The only way that's not going to play a part in this fight is if it ends in the first round.
