Not even 2, aldo won 17 in a row in the course of 10 years

Yea I am not saying aldo was not once the definite champion. Now he is dodging and picking fights only when it is right.

It doesnt matter who wins this Conner v Mendes fight I think Both beat Aldo now. Mendes isnt losing a third time. Theres no way in my opinion. And It seems like McGregor really got to him.

But with this whole drug testing fiasco followed by the injury changing 3 times in a week to him pulling out a week and a half out, its just not adding up in my mind anymore.

I think he should be tested more, especially with Anderson using his injury as an excuse. Obviously the doctors down there cant be trusted.

on that note.. I don't know why people are giving Mendes a chance. I personally believe Conor has no competition in the division. Guess we shall see. Really dissapointed and hate all this interim belt BULLSHIT

Because since Bang Ludwig came out Mendes has been on another level. He wrecked dude when he had food poisoning, and has given Aldo 6 rounds of trouble. Nobody else has. And also his wrestling is on a level McGregor has never faced, and since McGregor has a couple losses to non stand up fighters its what people say about him as a weakness.

Them PED's have made Jose fragile.

First not letting the NSAC drug test him because "he didn't have a visa" and then dropping the fight the day before the new testing standard is put in.

He submitted to the test immediately, and then got suspicious of the guy afterwards. It's crazy to think that his whole plan for avoiding popping positive was to rely on that guy not applying for the correct visa  In the testing rules fighters are allowed to miss 2 tests per year. He could have had someone on lookout for the tester and just hide from him--and suffer no penalties whatsoever. If his plan was to dodge a test, that would have been a far better and more obvious plan...

And the new testing standards apply to all fighters signed by the ufc, year round, even when they don't have a fight scheduled. He'll probably be tested anyway.

And the UFC had their own doctors look at his injury and confirm it already...

Sucks that the fight is canceled but UFC conspiracy guys gotta relax. Jose Aldo obviously did not give up the two biggest paydays of his life because he was scared or didn't cycle properly

Not really, the brazilian doctor said it was probably a fracture, it's actually a bruised bone. A bruised bone is a type of fracture though. It happens when the inner part of your bone fractures but the outer part doesn't and it sucks because the inner part of your bones takes about 5 times as long to heal as the outer part. Depending on where a bruised bone happens it may just hurt and not noticeably affect performance otherwise or it may drastically affect performance.

They would have had to give Aldo an MRI to see that it was a bruised bone, which obviously they didn't do initially. That's completely understandable.

Source: several weeks ago I stabbed myself in the hand and hit the bone, bruised it. Got four stitches, the puncture wound is completely healed now but the bone still hurts whenever I grab something.
