Skipped training last night to go out to dinner with some friends. I hope to go saturday morning.

Last night was the last day of training our guys for a tournament this weekend. We did our regular basic class, but when it came time for the advanced class we spent the entire time rolling. Feels good man.

I want what they have so badly. Great match with Xande starting strong and Galvao finishing strong. Gets a little slow around the three and a half mark but picks up again quickly.

Xande's guard passing is brilliant. Galvao's reversal w/ single leg at 4:20 is excellent! And the transition to the crucifix from the guard pass attempt is INSANE. Amazing match.

Enjoy!

i've been doing the choke from the crucifix(6:10) for a few weeks now. it's easy to get but can be tough to finish.

great match!

An old injury came back to me during practice today. I partialy dislocated my shoulder.

The doctor called it a sub-luxation back than (not sure if this is the correct English term) and it was the reason I quited thaiboxing about 5 years ago.
I'm doing allright now, I'm pretty used to it happen every once in a while. But today was worse than it normaly is. It still hurts.

Maybe I need to see a doctor on monday.

two of my training partners were competing this weekend at the tiger balm internationals in vancouver. it's a REALLY big TMA tournament but they've added bjj, mma and submission wrestling divisions in the last 5-years. both of them are bringing home silver medals. for a small gym comprised mostly of white belts, we represent well in competition.

can't wait for the provincial championships in may!

I will, I'm used to the injury, but it hasn't come back this worse since I started BJJ last year.
To bad, because I was beating two guys @ sparring I have never beaten before.

It maybe good it has happened, now I'll go to the doctor and he might get me some sport physiotherapy. Will mean I'll be able to enter a gym for free ^_^
