DJ has lost in the UFC before, and again outside of the UFc. go rewatch the fight, he doesn't show the same level of hunger or aggressiveness. Its all thoery obviously, as Id hope no one purposely wants to lose but he already broke the record for most defenses, and had the first ever "trade" ready after he lost. Definitely a theory but a pretty damn good one.

Maybe Cejudo is just too dominant now and the time to pass the torch just happened. The way he beat Dilleshaw was a solid statement

i gotta disagree. even if he wanted to leave i dont think he(or anyone for that matter) would lose on purpose because he was holding a world record ect

Thing is, he won that second fight vs Cejudo imo. I know I ain't the only person who thinks he was robbed

He said he wanted out of UFC prior to fight

Afterall i understand him, ordinary paycheck and not really promoted. While in one fc hes making a lot of dough compared to the ufc just like eddie

It also looks like he just wanted to travel the world now for fights

Its awesome for dj. Such an underappreciated fighter but also id love a 3rd fight with cejudo maybe as a crosspromotion event if they would for one night

LOL!! The UFC is so stubborn they wouldn't even consider a cross promotion for Fedor, no way in hell they cave for a guy they just "traded" away.
