should ortega of fought stephens? no. he can fight holloway @ ufc 227.

Yes he should have.
I get why he didnt but if youre here to prove youre the best in your division and you want that paper, you fight.
Sitting on the sidelines does nothing good for him

Edit: Especially to the upper echelons on the UFC. Thats one of the things I did like about "hungry" conor and one of the main reasons he is so pampered now

Right and thats one of the things I did like back when he was hungry. He just never defended a title and thats been his main setback

conor not only never pulled out, he's fought with a sprained thumb, staph and torn ligaments with short notice opponents where his opponents pull out LOL

holloway wanted to fight but his team wouldn't let him, ortega trained for months and decided to pull out vs a short notice lower ranked opponent. ortega is a hair-model puss]

While the floyd fight secured his financial future, I believe it took the need/want from him to be a company man with the UFC.
He kept his nose clean until he got that floyd paper. Now he is acting a damned fool.

He didnt go crazy. He went stupid. Poor decision on his part. What did it accomplish?

Considering it happened in April and youre still talking about it
Considering he hasnt fought in the UFC in 2 years and you're still talking about him every day

Id say it accomplished a lot.
