Yeah. He said he has done 255, and before that he claimed 270, but later said that he thought he could do it, but he failed on that attempt.

Edit: I can standing over head BB press 125 for 1 rep, I know my shoulders suck REALLY badly, but I'm doubtfull of someone that weighs less than me doing over twice as much. I saw a dude ~250lbs get 275 up to his shoulders, but that shit was really intense.

I've done seated military press with 195 for 9 reps.
I don't go down and touch my chest though like you see some people doing.. :P

True true. My shoulders are really weird, I got very loose joints (can pop my arm out of the joint, no pain). Doing fly's hurts my shoulders often, a tendon between my shoulder and pec (under front delt?) hurts like a mofo.

I think he's got his reasons for it, and I kind of agree with him a little bit for overhead press. He's a shit ton more experienced than me or most people on here.

On the seated machine shoulder press I can't go all the way down... My shoulder pops >.<

This is why I use dumbbells whenever possible for any exercise.

I haven't used the smith machine...another reason why I don't go all the way down.

DB's are better for full ROM on shoulder presses for me.
