Sports are all about money and there has been plenty of corruption in EVERY sport because of it. In terms of Aldo, it's common sense a foreign athlete that doesn't speak English isn't going to be as easy to sell as an English speaking athlete.

Understanding that the sport has a governing organization that is a business and requires money to operate has nothing to do with being a fan or not.
