i still think the fight was much closer than most people think it was...most people just go ONLY off strikes landed....

how do you know condit wouldnt tear diaz up if he went all out? he just played the safe game this time

Condit said "If I played Nick Diaz's game I would have lost" after the fight. Which meant if he didn't constantly refuse to engage he would have probably lost in a brawl.

Perfect description of GSP. And he's losing fans more rapidly than any other champion because of his boring ass style.

I don't think that the cage is to big to prevent takedowns just because someone is fleeing.

I just feel that Nick doesn't have the athleticism to be explosive in his takedowns.

Why didn't Nick ever just sprint after Carlos and try to corner or hit him while he was on the backfoot? Even try to chase him with strikes then shoot for a leg.

The video showed Carlos with his head looking down and hands down when backing up, he could have been chased for a chance to try and do something to win.

Is that what it takes to win a fight now adays, even if your pushing the pace and the other guy strafes off and doesnt engage. Dive at them all the time and bumrush, MAYBE you'll get the W

If they are that much faster moving, faster striking and counter striking then yes.

You take a risk or you get your ass UD'd all day.
