I mean there was pretty much always a Brazilian or multiple Brazilian champs and the divisions where they weren't champs there were typically always top Brazilian contenders. Brazil was an absolute powerhouse in producing talent in the sport of mma. Now they're damn near on the same status as the Asian countries.
