Any clue how much the belt is worth? Can't be that much..

I just read that they used to be really nicely made, now they are just casts. If that's true they are a few hundred each for the ufc and only worth what someone wants to pay to get a certain persons belt pretty much.



I would imagine they are all the same and they have a bunch on hand? That's why Tyrone gave his for the pictures

The only difference is DJ doesn't start over after every defense.

Why should he not get a trophy for his victorious efforts?

lol wait they weren't giving dj new belts for each defense? Has this happened to anyone else? I know Anderson and GSP both got belts for every defense, and bisping got a new one for beating hendo.

I'm pretty sure it was rampage when he was fighting for a belt said something along the lines of I got all my belts still so I think it might be every champion.

I guess I was wrong to spa a little but I've still never seen someone take a picture like that. They have 1 belt at a time and he seems like he's trying real hard to look better than conor. And he really doesn't have to. 10 defense is better than 2 different titles in my opinion. Now if it was like the 170 and 185 belts it might be a little more impressive

In most pro sports each regular season is basically just determining the seeds for a tournament (playoffs). Brady's rings are all from him winning giant tournaments that are all independent of each other.

For the UFC i feel like the first belt is a giant accomplishment considering all the W's it took to get there then dethrone the top guy. Defenses are all built off of that first body of work, and are essentially just one win over a guy ranked 1-5. Something that guys who aren't even the champ do anyways. I feel like defending the belt should give you a big a $$$ bonus, but handing out the belt like candy devalues it.

Dj didnt get a belt each defence, as far as im aware every other champion did, or at the very least most of them
