If you can defend 10 times, you deserve 10 belts.

Just because Tom Brady has 5 Super Bowl victory's doesn't mean they stop giving him championship rings.

although i find that a little different, they aren't automatically put into the super bowl to defend their title
they have to go through the season, get into the playoffs, and win their playoff games to get into the super bowl again
