Guy can scrap, no doubt. Has unbelievable power and sees things just a little differently than most people.

But in what regard is he that much ahead of anyone? Has multiple submission losses, was tagged a lot vs Mendes, and the Nate fights speak for them selves.

I could say the same stupid shit about Khabib being absolutely better than everyone, he's actually undefeated. But I'm not a dullard, every man will meet his match one day.

honestly, the nate fights made conor so much better. His boxing was sharpened, gameplan more refined, power still deadly, fought with less emotion. Not many people improve that much in that short of a time, especially after already reaching the top and becoming champ. I feel like after the alvarez fight i would've liked to see him defend again against either ferg or lord khabib, to see if he could be that great consistently. It's less so about what occurred in the past and looking at a fighter objectively at their skill set. If he fought chad again, i guarantee he wouldn't have gotten tagged as much, and he wouldn't have gotten taken down as easily. Conor was leaving himself wide open to those takedowns with his reckless aggression, and chad just timed them easily. He doesn't do that anymore tho.

Exactly!

New eco conor will be a machine, it showed in the alveraz fight.

i'm pretty sure khabib doing at least one fight at welterweight now

blood not going to his kidneys...?? i'd be surprised if they LET him fight at 155 again

woodley supposedly has an opponent and i'm thinking its khabib , conor or nick

in that order of likelihood

i doubt they give khabib such an opportunity after fucking up a ppv.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's nick. If lawler v cowboy happens with maia v masvidal happening, condit essentially retired, and wonderboy out of the picture, then woodley needs a justifiable opponent and someone who can sell the fight on their own since he won't be able to after that boring last fight.

another reason nick makes sense is woodley hasn't complained or anything about the fight. he's th biggest drama queen in the business, if it was khabib i think he would be crying about it

he must of got what he wanted vs nick... his "money fight"

I would say a lot differently lol. He's a sports psychologist's wet dream. One of the things I find so interesting about him. Most people that are considered great or even genius in their craft are that way whether it's mathematics/science/engineering/sports/coaching etc etc. They view things completely different than everyone else which usually allows them to be innovative.

Conor got outstruck twice by literally the most predictable striker in the ufc.
