Topuria primarily strikes now because he gassed wrestling Zalal in his UFC debut. He came in as a submission guy, with only 1 knockout on his record. Zalal almost cooked him in the 3rd round because Topuria was tired. Zalal is clearly better than the UFC thought (cut him originally). Paddy has a great chin, can throw down and has great BJJ with very good cardio. He's much bigger than Topuria - he could absolutely win. There should also be an asterisk next to Topuria's double champ status - you didn't beat a champion to become double, you grabbed a vacant belt as a -500 favourite because Charles was never going to win.
Yeah he was a submission guy sure and when he fought bryce he looked gassed. He striking is amazing but I feel if a guy grabs and holds him.and tires them arms out and makes him really work from pressure they'll beat him.
