i'm sure he's smart enough to not throw those certain kicks vs a wrestler and work more towards leg kicks

the karate stance and his boxing is perfect for tdd

it's good for double legs

but mendes and edgar have more than a double leg takedown

he's young, hungry, and will only continue to get better

his balance is great, his striking is good while moving backwards, and he's good at hitting people with power shots as they come in at him

it'll be interesting to see these fights take place sooner or later

I mean there's just so much hype behind McGregor right now it's ridiculous.

He lost 2 fights against scrubs via submission after being taken down.

A high caliber UFC wrestler would have a field day with him, which is why they've been gifting him easy match-ups ever since he joined the UFC.

Don't get me wrong, I like the dude, he has a lot of swag, and if he beats Aldo I wont even be pissed(I'll be a little mad because I'm betting money on Aldo actually). But people think he's unstoppable when he hasn't fought any high level competition in his whole MMA career.

When Aldo out-classes him in every aspect of MMA on the 11th, I'm not sure what they'll do to him. FW is filled with good wrestlers, I think even Faber at this point in his career would beat McGregor's ass.

I guess they could always set up Cub Swanson vs McGregor when he loses to Aldo, we'll see.

dillashaw got ko'd by a 125er then few years later put on a striking clinic vs a very scary striker in barao

so many people lost earlier in their career and improved DRASTICALLY in the course of 2-3 years, i just feel like everybody thinks conor hasn't worked on his wrestling or bjj at all since he lost 5 years ago...

he was literally a boxer getting into mma, ofc he lost to submission in his first few fights.. that tends to happen to most strikers getting into mma (the ultimate fighter being a prime example of that)

I'm not even trying to hate on Conor, I'm just stating facts.

I like the way he carries himself, but at the end of the day, he's just sooo incredibly untested against higher tier fighters.
