I still loved the rest of the card, just turned out the main event was more hype then the rest of the fights. Just wasn't very entertained by the final fight.

I know Wells personally, he's from the same gym (Renzo Gracie) as other up and coming UFC guys like Sean Brady, Patrick Sabatini, etc. here in Philly. That gym produces some SERIOUS problems for guys when it comes to grappling, the jiu jitsu talent coming out of there is insane.

He's 2-0 in the UFC and both wins have been impressive. First he KO'd Warlley Alves, and now this submission against Blood Diamond.

Trained there plenty before, never actually fought though. I need to keep my face intact for work, plus i'm 33 now lol.

i live farther away now so it's a bit of a drive, but i'm good friends with a lot of the guys that train there. They have a bright future, a ton of talent out of there.

that's what happens when these new fans treat fighters like gods before they earned it. winning is irrelevant if nobody cares, and fighters have no reason to try harder if they have groupies that will talk them up no matter what.

that whole if a tree falls and nobody hears it type of thing.

Israel is beating competition that is leagues ahead of what Anderson fought.

And he’s now 2-0, with a KO and a dominant decision against the hands down second best MW on the planet.

Hell, you could argue that other than Dan Henderson Whittaker is better than any fighter Anderson defeated during his streak.
