He still only landed 4 of 13 takedown attempts so not like he took barboza down at will, barboza wasn't an easy takedown khabib is just relentless

People's issues is getting back to the feet or not fighting back off their back
Max has really good tdd and even threatens attacks just sad that he's coming in probably not fully healed with his ankle and last minute like this cause I like max's chances of winning with more time

Considering the threat of Barbozas kicks, Khabib did more than fine with taking him down. His clinch game is unreal, the way he sets it up for double unders is so clean

Khabib has beat great strikers in the past, I just can't see this fight being any different. I'll prob put a small bet on Max tho

Not a terrible bet at 5:1 odds, just skeptical of how good his ankle is
Even with that though still think max will be harder to deal with than khabibs past opponents
Max
Conor
Tony
Maybe even a Nate Diaz
I feel are the best 3-4 people to beat khabib stylistically

It would be cool if khabib took more of a Brian Ortega approach and started to get creative with striking and take it to another level, maybe start working in some good leg kicks to chop people down kinda like rda and Conor did to Nate

Tony' goofy style is probably my best bet at beating him, I even think Ortega could possibly be a threat. Guys who can pull the impossible from on the back

Or someone who is clearly stronger, Khabib takes guys down with 1 underhook even. Maybe someone who is big enough for that not to happen

It's just so awkward at 155 for anyone to even stop his takedowns or getting back up once down, the guy is training with MMA gods at AKA. It's actually insane how good he is, reminds me of prime GSP but scarier

Jose aldo could be interesting, just think he's at the end of his career which is so weird to say how young he is

Kinda weird that some of the 145s would be bigger threats to khabib than in his own division lol

I just hope that if Khabib smothers Max for 5 rounds, that it doesn't put Max off coming to 155 still in the future. He's the best shot at us seeing someone defend 2 belts at once

If he beat khabib he would have 3 pretty intense fights ahead of him lol
Conor / Ortega / Tony

Damn, right after beating khabib at that lol

I really can't wait for max vs Ortega either, like them both a lot and their styles will clash nicely for an exciting fight, or should anyways

would def be an exciting fight, but i think max would be a little too slippery currently for ortega.

if khabib wins u might as well make max vs ortega on the same card as conor vs khabib incase some more bullshit happens.
