Haven’t seen anything on this, googling now, but if he seriously turned down a title shot to fight Conor again, he deserves whatever he gets. That’s fucking asanine.

e/ Haha, don’t see anything about Poirier when googling “Dustin Poirier” a thousand hits about this “McGregor belt” this kind of thing is so god damn stupid.

Dustin got a flat line of 1 million to fight conor, im sure more in ppv points and incentives and sponsorships and as well his hot sauce advertisement so you could say 10 million in his win vs conor. He would be a fool now to fight him again for another 10 million he's the A side now and if he were to win this 3rd fight he'd undoubtably he the next to fight for the title.

And as far as the offer it was either direct or indirect indication from Dana in an interview on how Dustin chose the trilogy with Conor.

Totally disagree. He turned down a shot at becoming the undisputed best in the world for a dance with his BFF. Get that belt then you can be the A side.

Well, did you see the way he finished Conor? Im sure he believes he can do it for a 3rd time. So in his mind he can make another possible 10 million and become the champion in the same year. Because without a doubt if he were to win they'd match up him for a title fight by year end.

Absolutely tuned him up, but tbh Conor landed a couple of really dangerous shots in the first round. A slight mistake by Dustin and he might get KO'd, or god forbid it goes to a decision Conor guarantee walks out the winner. Then Conor gets the next shot and Dustin is left with his money and a sore ass IMO.
