It has been a long time since I visited this forum, a place where I dumped so many of my valuable time with little in return.

I feel this place is connected somewhat to my story, because ever since I started doing Jiu Jitsu my life has changed for the better, and it replaced many of my addictions, including gaming.

Have fun reading it: https://medium.com/@ddew29/jiu-jitsu-saved-my-life-c8731f4b4d43

"3 years after being choked by a small girl, I became champion of the biggest grappling tournament in The Netherlands."

Thanks for sharing sir. I read every bit of if and, to be very very honest, it's such a great showcase of overcomming ourselves.

Congratulations sir, realy.

I've always been more of a running/swimming sports kind of guy, dont know if at my age i could start BJJ
Alltho got 2 sons and i'll definitely point them in that direction.

Thank you agair for sharing sir.

Thanks so much for the overwhelmingly warm reactions, I truly hope that each of you will find a journey that is worth your time and effort, whatever that may be.

Any age is good to start, two buddies of mine just got their black belts, father and son. The son started at age 15, the father was 45 when he started.
