You're still mad about our last discussion? Grow up, man.

A mature response would be: "Depends on your perspective. With headgear you don't see punches coming as well, which may lead to more concussions." or "Headgear gives the false illusion of safety, making people go harder during sparring or just eat more punches." Or something like that.

But no, mr. just says "dumbest statement" & making an own statement without elaboration.

Grow up.

No. Go look at the studies. You literally absorb more damage because your punch zone is larger. If you think for a second I remember anything you said in the past you think far too highly of yourself. But apparently you have a history of saying dumb shit.

You know the general consensus, hence headgear is still being used. I'm not saying it's impossible that your hypothesis or the studies you picked will become consensus in the future and that your perspective will be held as true, but the way you hold your view as absolute and replying to my comment with "dumbest statement I've read today"... and you're talking about me thinking too highly of myself? And then an ad hominem right after without elaborating. Unnecessarily toxic. You threw first, but I'm not going to play the shit throwing game with you. Have the last word if you wish, I don't care. Have a nice day.

The first death is different though. I think that one was just bad luck. His trainer did stop it.

agreed, afaik his trainer urged him to stop and allow him to throw the towel several time, but a fighter's pride and adrenaline are difficult opponents for sure. but yeah, that's a tragic and unfortunate death that just seems to happen from time to time, just thought i mention it as well since it happened so recently.

So he was under protective ban in germany and they took a fight in another country before the ban ended? If so the neglect and disregard for the German commission's ban should be followed up with some sort of action. Not that it will.

I remember dana white getting asked if he would ever schedule a match for JBJ out side of the usa while banned and i think he said he could but that he would never do it.

Not a year or two later and Jon "pictogram" Jones gets the whole card moved to another state disregarding Nevada's decision to deny him.

iirc, he wasn't suspended, they just wouldn't license him

I agree, but Dana is worried about losing his Promoter license by going around their suspensions

Just pro boxing. With the headgear amateur boxing with 14-16 oz gloves is okay.

Outlaw weight cutting.

Hmm the 10-12 oz amateur competitive gloves is more knucklepadded than most 16-18 oz sparring gloves imo
