McGregor/Pettis would be a super sick fight, but not really a main event fight for a numbered PPV. And I don’t think they can sell Conor on a fight night card even as the main event.

I don’t think Conor would agree to fight for less than main event pay anyway, so here lies the dilemma.

McGregor could fight a dolphin as the main event and still outsell anyone on that roster. To think 1 loss changes that is crazy

Yea but Conor was the current FW champion, scheduled to fight for the LW belt. Imo that was when his aura was the strongest, at that point he could have picked anyone, hence why he got away with Nate.




I could be totally off base, wouldn’t be the first time I’m wrong. But I just don’t see it. Conor’s fans need a reason to stay behind there guy. He’s lost his last two fights, the dolly incident is still fresh, he needs a big win. Not sure a tough fight with a huge downside is the move to make.
