I wouldn’t say he’s bad, but it’s annoying that he holds up divisions constantly and won’t defend.

He's always been open about the fact that he's looking to make as much money as possible, and his tactics to do so aren't wrong. As far as maximizing profit in a sport notorious for leaving all but the very upper echelon of fighters broken and destitute, he's transcended what even the most dominant ufc champions have accomplished in a short amount of time while fighting only who he chooses to. Pretty impressive feat if you ask me.

He doesn't benefit at all from fighting khabib or el cucuy, both of whom could easily destroy him inside of 1 round, and it's not like any payday he'll get in the UFC can really compel him to risk being exposed again.
Short of him getting some type of stake in the UFC itself (which he won't), I doubt he'll be making another appearance in the octagon save to fight some over the hill former champ, diaz again, or unranked fighter.
