I think these p4p lists are a joke. Big guys left off? The baddest men on the planet.

P4p should mean, whoever steps in front of them. I could beat these 125lb fighters in a fist fight. Size and power matters in ALL of life. To pretend Anthony Joshua isn't the #1 fighter on the planet is delusional

everyone knows heavyweights would smash 125'ers in real fights and in a true ranking system. The point of p4p isn't really a straight up head to head "fight" ranking, it's more of a "sport" ranking if that makes sense. Which competitor has dominated his opposition in the most convincing fashion and with the most skill, regardless of which weight class they just so happen to participate in. So, which person is better at the sport. Not who could beat everyone else on the list up.

it's basically bs, and completely subjective.

Do you think Rigondeaux has any chance of beating Lomachenko? I think that fight could be the unheralded FOTY.

I think he's got a legitimate chance. I'm just rooting for lomachenko more

I think Lomachenko is a more exciting fighter to watch. He goes after his opponents more but he's also a world-class boxer.

I'm loving his match-up with Rigondeaux b/c I want to see if Rigondeaux will be forced to go on the offensive. Rigondeaux's a great defensive fighter but I feel he picks his shots too much. If he does that against Lomachenko, he could find himself on the canvas early. By contrast, if Lomachenko gets loose and loops his punches he may be surprised by a hard counter.

If I'm Lomachenko I stalk and defend intelligently. Basically GGG style but ideally with better defense. Do what Kovalev did against Ward in their 1st fight, but keep some gas in the tank b/c your landing % should drop for this fight.
If I'm Rigondeaux I either plan to defend, counter to get respect, and hope to win on points, or I plan to go on the aggressive and shock the world. I actually prefer plan #2, b/c although counter-intuitive, it might be his best bet. Trust your defense, but use your fists :D

The outcome of this fight will *probably* be determined by whether Lomachenko can land power shots.

e: I'm not really rooting for either fighter. I like that they're both pretty hard, tough guys. They're both true talents. If anything, I prefer Lomachenko's style. Russians don't fk around.

Lomachenko is too good to fall into rigo's traps. I think the footwork of lomachenko will nulify those perfect counters and defence.... i hope :p
