You don't look like a gym rat at all.

Sure thing, planning on it. However I still don't want any advice or criticism whatsoever.

January 7th 2012

Did shoulders/legs at the gym.
15 minutes of Cardio

Probably going to hop on the treadmill later and do an hour or two of cardio just walking fast on an incline.

6 days a week at the gym is really hurting my lifts/spirits but I am seeing results, hopefully my body adjusts soon.

Been focusing on anything in particular when you're working out?

Cardio? Strength? Speed?

Been lifting like I normally lift, just for general strength gains and weight loss. Trying to get to 200lbs.

My kickboxing training has been focused mainly on cardio.

Whenever my coach tells me I have a fight coming up I plan to double my cardio for 2 weeks prior.

Why are you so against advice or criticism? Does it really effect you that much?

The thing I don't want is to for people to get my head full of advice that isn't useful. My coach will provide with necessary advice and criticism, he knows me and my skill set best.

Going to plan to have my GF record some sparring hopefully next Friday. All depends on everyone's schedule.

You should post what you do/work on in kickboxing too.

Typical Class (Everything in 5 minute rounds)

1 Round Skipping
1 Round Shadowboxing
1-2 Rounds Hitting Heavybag/Kickboxing Bag

All of the above is pretty much standard for our class every class.

2-3 Rounds Hitting Focus Mitts/Thai Pads

OR

Light light sparring emphasizing slips, counters, footwork and positioning.

OR

Circuit Training 2 Rounds of 7x 1 Minute Stations with no break between stations.

Usually something like that for the 1 hour class. If we do spar hard it is usually after the first 1 hour class.
