Idk, I think so.. but you could bet "the house" or whatever on fury for a 5% return... with these betting odds I would go Francis even if I don't think he will win...just saying
Being able to generate punching power doesn't mean you can use it effectively in boxing. Wilder who has boxed his entire life has more power than francis does in the majority of his strikes. His straight punches knock guys dead, while francis uses his entire body to throw his punches and leaves himself wide open for counters vs somebody that knows what they're doing. The odds that francis lands one of his telegraphed shots that can end a fight is slim to none because that doesn't generally work in boxing, and it's taxing on the gas tank which puts him at risk of being countered or battered to death after a couple rounds.
The only way fury loses is if he some how gets injured during the fight by some freak accident, and then gets caught. Francis isn't fast, he has never shown he has a jab in mma or anything other than wild hooks and uppercuts vs guys. If he was knocking guys dead with right straights like shane carwin did, he might improve his odds a bit, but i've never seen him throw straight punches, everything is from the hips, and to retrain yourself to fight differently in a few months to make those strikes work against one of the greatest heavyweights of all time is slim to none.
If you took francis skill set right now, and repeated the first fight 100x, it wouldn't shock me if francis didn't win once. Francis more than likely has less than a 1% chance to win this fight with no foot work, head movement, a jab, or right straight. His stamina will also not carry him deep into the fight if he manages to make it there, so he has a very small slot of opportunity to win the fight within the first 2 or 3 rounds if he's not already dead by then.
