Similar to Floyd Mayweather, is Jake Paul's boxing "career" not really about the fighting, but more about profit/money?

I'm 95% sure that Ben Askren, at the very last, was paid to take a dive. If you watch pre-fight interviews/press conferences, Jake will say shit like "i KNOW what's gonna happen" - it's all one big show highly reminiscent of WWE and the likes.

This. Jake Paul has the financial and mental means to become just proficient enough in boxing. His selection of opponents is clearly chosen very carefully to maximize his odds of winning and generating large sums of cash. Its a pretty brilliant scheme.
