Why does everyone keep saying he had no camp? This fight was originally his. Gilbert only stepped in after failed negotiation. Gilbert had as much time to get ready for that fight as Jorge did.... Usman wasnt preparing for Jorge, but Jorge should have consistently been preparing for Usman because that was his ONLY FIGHT OPTION.
Listen, I am a huge Jorge fan truly I am. But he could be given as much time as he wants and the fullest gas tank, and still take an L.
He nor anyone else in that division can handle the wrestling of Usman.... Also lets not forget Usman has taken harder shots than Jorge throws... So in my honest opinion, my boy Jorge was gonna take that L via wrestle fuck regardless of the situation.
Feel free to disagree but I don't see anyone in top15 being able to outwrestle Kamaru Usman, he's just on a different level.
I ain't gonna say no camp. It may have been in the back of his head he may get to fight. But losing 22 pounds and flying across the world is tough all in itself. When they done embedded and the lens on the cameras kept fogging up I realized how hot it was there, but I'm sure there was some jet lag from the 18 hour flight. He did lose but I think he looked good with his wrestling. I would like to see it in the usa. Both didn't really look super great to me. If I was a fighter, fighting on fight island. I'd probably wanna be there atleast 3 weeks before my fight.
