article from ESPN there. basically says mayweather is fighting victor ortiz on sept 17 this year.


interesting thing for me is that i hope this is a tune up match for mayweather and he fights pacquiao sometimes next year.

Floyd probably will win but based on Victor Ortiz record, theres always a possibility Victor Ortiz might win.
Manny Pacquiao fighting Marquez since people think Marquez can own Pacquaio because of the draw they had first fight.
Hopefully the two will fight soon.

Easy UD for Mayweather. Manny shuda fought Marquez atleast at 140 knowing he CAN make the weight. I also believe they will fight next year. Pac is done

i see ortiz having literally no chance. maybe even a KO for mayweather even tho he isnt that kind of puncher. ortiz looked good last fight, but i mean he has quit after 6 rounds before (in 2009). hes soft as far as im concerned and i see an easy win

To be fair---Marquez probably won the second fight. Though Pac-man won the first. I'm stoked for the third fight.

Either way, we'll see Mayweather beat another lesser-fighter and remain hopeful that he won't back out of the Pacman fight again in 2012.

yeah well pacquioa has taken the same route, fighting lesser safer fights. marquez vs pacquiao has a good story, but lets be honest marquez is nothing compared to him, and this is coming from a mayweather fan

Manny should atleast fight marquez at 140. But its too much of a risk.

These will be the last fight before they fight each other.

Marquez has a similar style as Mayweather, counter-puncher.

Ortiz is southpaw, just like Pacquiao.
