i went to sleep while afk in a game to wait for d clone and when i woke up and checked the m logs, someone had joined the game, killed diablo, and left. at first i assumed it was a random on my friends list, but my buddy said this happened to him as well and he doesn't add "random" people. did this happen to anyone else? is there a way for people to somehow see/join passworded games? or did i just forget to delete someone on my friends list after a trade? lol

i have same situation private game with pass and someone jolin game kill clone.

interesting .. i dont remember what my game name was, but it might've been something generic. even then, that'd be crazy if people were just trying random games and eventually making it in. feels like there's something else to this.

If you have someone on your friend list, he can join your games without game name/passwords.
Just uncheck "allow friends to join"

i intended to let a specific friend come in and kill the d clone, but the other individual was quicker.

i checked "recently played" and it was indeed a random on my friends list. cant trust 30 year old men with 50 fg apparently smh. or potentially like 2.5k if he rolls perfect i guess haha. best of luck to them.


and as for my buddy, who also had someone come into his game and kill his d clone; he had a very generic game name, so i just assume someone joined his game by chance.

so the mystery has been solved! /CLOSE lol

there is someone joining games, i cant remember the persons name though. they have been called out here before and i saw the name come up again sunday during the asia runs

This is why you turn off friends list joining if your afking for a dclone.

Or don't have a shady friends list / make dumb games like anni4/4

Glitches around probably that allow Game joining breaching security even without friends joining enabled. Blizzard has been informed awhile ago about dclone games issues.

yeah, thats my bad for having faith in the community of 30 year old neckbeards. lesson learned and friends list has been narrowed down to people i actually know
