Sometimes I wonder if the random ticks of SoJ sold to merchants can be a server side random event which has nothing to do with players selling SoJ.


Is that a possibility? I have never looked at Diablo2 code and I don't even know if the bnet servers themselves have published their source.

No. Every soj sold is from a human player.

SP PlugY is all random tho

And I fear D2R may adopt PlugY method, taking control/power away from players.
